Many /co/ users do not want /d/ expats on their board. You don't want diaper, inflation, slob, futa, etc. threads crowding up your board.
At the same time, most /d/ users are tired of having our threads split up between two boards based on the origins of the content. If you have a Japanese image from a fetish you have to make sure it's posted in the Japanese thread on /d/ and not the Western thread on /aco/. Splitting content for niche fetishes rather than sharing a single thread on a single board is pointless, especially as many of these threads are resorting to posting Japanese content here on /aco/.
The ban on Western content was primarily used as a ban on fetishes from /d/; it didn't really have anything to do with the origin of the content.
/aco/, would you rather have Alternative Fetish content back on the Alternative Fetish board?
